Google’s Video Search Gadget

This is something I would love to see! Google has or is in the process of developing a way to transcribe and search content in videos. They are applying this initially to their YouTube Politicians channels.

They also claim that by using speech recognition it’s possible to jump straight to the point in the video. Outside of the political realm, imagine the applications for this in webcasting.
